The Head quarter of the university is located at Nashik. The university operates through its 8 Regional Centers (RCs) located at Amravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nashik, Nanded, Nagpur and Pune. The university academic and extension education programs are implemented through a large network of 1711 Learner Support Centers (LSCs) including 1342 learner support centers established in Senior Colleges for UG and PG Programs and 369 Learner Support Centers established for certificate and diploma programs established in technical and professional institutions in Maharashtra.
The jurisdiction of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University is the entire State of Maharashtra.
